Growing up in Cincinnati, my world was filled with music. From my earliest days, I was drawn to the arts, spending summers at Interlochen, where I could be surrounded by kindred spirits and learn from some of the most inspiring teachers. That love for music carried me through my undergraduate and graduate studies in voice, setting me on a lifelong path of connection and storytelling—two values at the heart of making music.
As I traveled through the vast and sometimes stormy sea of the music industry, I learned that it’s rarely a straightforward journey, especially for classical singers and instrumentalist. In a world brimming with personal branding and the pressure to “find your style,” the road can feel unsteady, often with little guidance for those who seek to carve their own path.
